Why Adopt from Korea?

Adopt from Korea
  1. 100% of Korea kids for adoption enter one-on-one foster care from intake until time of travel.
  2. Boy or Girl? You choose!
AAC tracks families waiting to be matched with a child by gender-specific lists. Typically, the wait time for a referral for a boy is about 10 months, and for a girl, 18 to 20 months. After being matched with a child, there is another 6 month process of approvals before the baby travels home.
  3. Some Medical and Social History
With Korea adoption, the children are relinquished by the birth mother. You will be given all biological information that the birth mother shares. She may give information regarding the birth father; however it may not be complete.
  4. Stable and Reliable
Korea adoption has been going strong for over 50 years.
  5. Birth Parent Tracking May Be Possible
AAC offers the Taste of Korea Tour each summer, a two week exploration of Korean culture and heritage.   Many adoptive families use this opportunity to reunite with a birthparent or birthfamily once a child reaches adulthood.
  6. Society Acceptance and Support
Due to the longevity of Korea adoption, the support of domestic and international adoption is evident.
