WAITING CHILDREN FROM CHINA
In 2011, AAC was invited by China's Center of Child Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA) to participate in a new pilot program partnering AAC and three orphanages in the Jiangxi Province of China. In the years that followed, this partnership facilitated many successful matches between children in China and their forever families in the US. Because of the success of the pilot program, CCCWA requested an expansion of the partnership. We now partner with six orphanages. The relationships we have forged over the past few years have benefited many children and helped us to unite them with their forever families.
AAC also has access to CCCWA'S "Shared List" of waiting children. The children on this list range in age from 1-13 and have a variety of medical conditions. Some of these special needs are very minor and some are more serious. Currently, there are over 1,500 waiting children on this list. COULD YOUR CHILD BE LISTED THERE?
WAITING CHILDREN FROM KOREA
Waiting children from Korea are typically infants and toddlers between the age of 5 months and 3 years. These children may be placed with families in any U.S. state unless otherwise noted. Below is a list of children who are currently waiting. Children from this program are often placed quickly, so we encourage you to check back often.
